Our Approach
Possibili-Tees was founded in 2008 by MIV to address the critical need; what happens to young adults with Autism and other developmental disabilities once they age-out of the school system. Possibili-Tees is working with a number of special education facilities to allow young adults in the transition period of 14 to 21 to enter a workplace and learn basic skills that will be necessary in order for them to succeed in the workplace.
After training, these students then become candidates for employment as screen printers, clerical staff and graphic designers involved in the screen-printing business. There are also opportunities to extend into research, sales, supervision and management of other staff as they develop throughout their careers.
Our Employment Services currently serve people of all ages; the majority between 25 and 40 with a range of developmental and physical disabilities.
In addition to the regular program, Possibili-Tees has a Saturday program that employs six people, all wheelchair-bound — three of whom are blind. Their tasks, with obvious limitations, occasionally include every step in the printing process.
